1) on the highway between 3 Riviered and Latuque - trailer tire is low on air - air pump required an extention to reach trailer luckily we had electrical tape
2) Repair of trailer tires at Latuque
3) Arrival at Lac Eugene at 1:30pm
4) Team departs for cabin with supplies at 2:00pm
- spiros and tony were communicating up until communication was lost
- spiros at 3pm commenced yelling out the names of Perry, Tony, and Steve for feedback.. Which never came until
- 4pm, Tony and Perry are seen coming out of the forest dressed with scrapes of clothing found at the cabin.
- what happened? 100 yards north of the cabin the boat commenced taking water in abruptly, within seconds the boat was submerged with water and sunk to the bottom forcing its occupants into the water - everyone struggled and swam to shore and Perry plunged back in to salvage food and beer - suffering of extreme cold and near hypothermia they enter cabin and struggle to create heat and dry up
- as a boat, we used the row boat of our neighbors (which suffered minor damages - frame cracked).
- afternoon is spent search and rescue for supplies and equipment - we find Spiros rifle case floating on the adge of the lake - on the edge of Clic-Clic stand
- Saturday morning, Perry and Tony go into town to rent scuba gear. They returned at 12:45 with wet skins, flippers, masks and weights. They we're not capable of renting scuba gear due to Tony not bringing his licence with him (Tony followed Spiro's comments of keep only vital cards in his wallet).
- Saturday afternoon by 2pm, the diving efforts failed because of water depth
- during this time, Perry was running a fever
- new strategy the building of Lac Eugene penis to drag the bottom of lake - from this we re-designed the penis to include a tripod and drag the bottom to find the boat.
- after several attempts of dragging the tripod, we descovered the positioning of boat by fuel leak reaching the surface
- Sunday morning, Perry, Spiros and Tony return to Roberval to seek help including Surete Police, diving school refused Tony to rent equipment due to lack of scuba licence but was able to offer the services of a professional diver the earliest Monday morning - team returned to Lac Eugene at 4pm to find Steve Kormas panicking over our lateness in returning. The afternoon was spent iconducting search and rescue missions for S Kormas missing $700. During this time, we heard screams from neighbors callling us - they offered their help and assistance.
- Monday morning at 6:30am, Tony and Spiros drive out to meet Francine and diver at Church in La Dore - returned to Lake at 9:45am
- efforts of scuba diver are successful in retrieving boat and all rifles especially Perry's which had floated adrift and sunk about 100 yards south east of boats sunken position
- diver inquired, after successfully recovery, "how did a bunch of montrealers discover this cabin au bout du bout"
- finally after all this shit on the last day at departure the following occurs:
- upon arrival at car, Perry and Kormas return to cabin to find his wallet
- Flat tire on Jeep - Tony and Spiros repair
- things lossed at Lac Eugene: Kormas $700, digital camera of Microware, Tony's boots,
- Odd survivol of equipment - Tony's star-talk Motorolla phone
